Warranty

1. EcoMotion Bikes extends one-year limited warranty for our products, subject to the following provisions:

1.1.  Warranty will be extended upon registration of the bike by the customer on our website, in order for the customer to be eligible for warranty. This must be done within 7 days from the day of the purchase of the product. 

1.2. Please notice, if you have purchased the product on this website, there is no need to register your product, we will do it for you.

​1.3. In case you have encountered difficulties registering your product, please contact us at contact@ecomotionbikes.com.

1.4. In case your bike was purchased through a dealer and you wish to activate your warranty, please contact the dealer from which you have purchased the bike first.

​1.5. In case your product was purchased through our website and you wish to activate your warranty, please do so through our Service form page. Our representative will contact you as soon as possible, in order to diagnose the failure and provide you with a solution.

1.6. The Customer hereby waives all and any demands or claims towards EcoMotion Bikes, If the product was not registered on our website.

2. Warranty does not extend to damage/ defects caused by misuse of the product, or the ordinary or reasonable wear and tear of the components (including but not limited to: tires, tubes or cables), as a result of negligence and/or accident and/or force major/ and/ or abuse, and/or neglect, and/or improper assembly by the customer and/or failure to follow normal maintenance and/ or storage procedures.

2.1.Warranty shall be voided in cases, in which the product was repaired by an uncertified person.

2.2. Warranty shall be voided in cases in which damage was caused by the removal or addition of parts, that not certified by the company and/or adding uncertified parts to the product.

​2.3.Warranty shall not be in effect and shall be voided, if the product is used for any purpose other than the purpose of electric bicycling, as defined by Chapter 568 of A.B. 1096. (CA, USA state law)

​2.4. The battery or any other part of the product must not be disassembled and/or punctured! such actions are extremely dangerous and may lead to severe injury! Such actions will bring will immediately void the warranty.

​2.5. The product must not be used in water.

​2.6. The product is meant for private use only; commercial use of the product shall void the warranty.

​2.7. We do not offer warranty extensions and will not honor such external extension programs that are offered by third party companies .

​2.8. This warranty is limited to the aforementioned replacement and repair, and is subject to our sole discretion of whether components should be repaired or replaced.

​2.9. Repairs outside the warranty shall be priced at the business rates of the businesses, at which the product was purchased.

Liability

1. The customer shall not hold EcoMotion and/or its owners and/or its employees and/or its representatives and/or anyone acting on its behalf responsible for any damage and/or injury and/or loss and/or death due to misuse or negligent use of a product or due to force major and/or due to any other reason caused by the customer and/ or user/ and/ or third party and/ or affected the customer and/ or user and/ or third party.

​2. The sole and total liability for the use of the product is borne by the customer/user.

​3. The customer must maintain and follow all relevant vehicle code provisions, as well as follow all traffic signs and signals, including the bikeway signs, markers, and traffic control devices established by the Department of Transportation.

​4. Products must not be used while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and/or any other mind altering substances.

​5. The use of the products is subject to the applicable federal law and state law in which they are used.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from ecomotionbikes.com (the “Site”).

Refund policy

Returns 
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by receiving your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 
Gift cards are not refundable. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to us on your own. 
Electric bikes are considered as a hazardous shipment, and we must notify the carrier before creating such shipping label. We will provide you with the return label.

All returns are subject to a 20% restocking and handling fees, which will be deducted from the refund.

Refunds  
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within few days.
Late or missing refunds  
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges / Repair of new product.

If you have received a product that you believe is defective or damaged, please contact us at contact@ecomotionbikes.com and state the following details:

• Name and phone number for contact.

• Description of the issues you are having with the product.

• Date of purchase.

• Date the product was received.

• You must also attach a photo of the damaged part/ of the problem.

• And the receipt that you received at the time of purchase

One of our representative will call you to attempt to solve the problem and/or to schedule a replacement.

In cases in which the damaged/defective component is replaceable, is not an integral part of the bicycle, according to our discretion, and its replacement does not require special technical knowledge, the replacement component will be sent to you and a representative will guide you through the process of the replacement over the phone.

​In cases in which the damaged/ defective component is irreplaceable and/or is an integral part of the bicycle,  and/or its replacement requires special technical skills ( That is according to EcoMotion Bikes discretion only), our representative will coordinate a product replacement or service meeting at one of its dealers. In a replacement case the following guidelines apply:

• Product is to be returned unused, in substantially as good condition as you received it, in its original casing along with all the accompanying components.

• The collection and replacement of the defective product will be done by a representative of our company or by a carrier company.

• Customers will not be charged any collection fees or handling fees or any other fees.

• In cases in which the product has been sold out, the product will be repaired and return to the customer in substantially good condition as received by the company.

Gifts 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping policy

Orders will be processed to be ship out within 2 business days from day of order was received.

Orders received on our website later than 5:00 p.m. (PST), will be considered as having been placed on the following business day.

Deliveries will be made by external third party carriers; these carriers will receive customer information necessary for the purpose of the delivery only.

Customers will be provided with a tracking number that will be generated and sent with the purchase invoice, after the purchase has been confirmed.​

Shipping fees within the United States will be determined in accordance with the carrier fees rate charged for that particular state and zip code, unless decided otherwise by EcoMotion Bikes.

In cases in which the product purchased has gone out of stock, the transaction will be canceled and the customer will not be charged or will be refunded. A representative will also contact the customer in order to allow for an order of a substitute product that is available in stock (with the appropriate refund, or additional charge to the original purchase price in accordance with the substitute product price).

Shipping address must match the Billing address. The Ecomotion Bikes reserves the right to cancel the transaction in the event of a discrepancy between the Shipping and Billing addresses.
